Roy White, Director, departure from ISE(13-05-2019)
Departure of Roy White, Director of the ISE
After three very exciting years, the Director of the International School Eindhoven, Roy White, will leave the school at the end of the academic year. He wishes to thank the large number of people both within the ISE and the wider community who have encouraged and supported educational developments within the Brainport over these last three years.
Those of you who have worked closely with Roy, will know that he enjoys a challenge, and enjoys strategizing with others to help schools innovate and to continually develop.
Roy spent almost thirty years in Hong Kong with a number of schools, and in his last role was the head of a school, which opened under his leadership. As an IB educator, he firmly believes that students, teachers and school leaders should seek new challenges and new adventures. With this in mind, he has decided to become the Director of an International School in Riga. Like his last role in Hong Kong, he will very much enjoy watching his new school quickly develop and flourish. And like his work here within Eindhoven, he will be encouraging students and teachers to use technologies to advance learning, and to co-create.
The ISE and SPVOZN will soon begin recruiting for a new Director. This person will be supported by the entire school community, including an extremely dedicated and professional teaching staff, to help the ISE to continue to innovate.
Roy wishes all within the Brainport, continued success, best wishes and happiness for their future.
